MissChelle's was established May 1st, 2007 in a beautiful basement in Hartwood, VA ~ what is better than a full service salon with the cozy home vibes?
Growing up Michelle was in the front seat watching family members run businesses from their homes. One set of grandparents ran a successful trash service in NOVA while her other grandfather supplied a small collision repair company from his basement. She has three uncles who ran home improvement companies from their homes while her mother-in-law, Mia, ran a successful dental lab that started from her own home. Michelle was employed by Mia before she stepped into the salon, having Mia's support and belief that Michelle could do it. This created the art of perfection for work!
Michelle has always been goal oriented and after her Grandfather Johnny said, "Missy, you're crazy to start a hair salon in Hartwood, all the way out in the country, who would come?" she decided to go for it! Fast forward to July 2011, before Johnny passed he told Michelle that he was so proud of her and he sees the hard work it took to make a successful salon out in Hartwood and was always surprised with how many clients she had.
Michelle had vision and she did it! It is hard work, but totally worth it! God's guidance, a lot of prayer, sacrifice, dedication, and hard work always pays off! Now Danielle following her footsteps, with three girls in and out of shop.. what a plan God had for MissChelle's Salon!
