Meet, Michelle!
The owner and first stylist of Misschelle's Salon. A woman who loves life, cares for women and desires to make a difference in peoples lives. Michelle sits many nights asking God for his wisdom in how to run a salon designed to meet every woman's needs who walk through our doors. She strives for perfection and gives her all. She is married to her amazing husband and best friend, Jim, of 32 years who you will see in and out from time to time. They complete one another and she thanks him for all he has sacrificed through running a home based business. They have a son and a daughter, Brodie and Danielle and two beautiful granddaughters! Michelle received her cosmetology license at Spectrum Beauty Academy in Alexandria,VA and then worked under a very successful beautician leading her to start her own journey! Michelle is a wise listener and encourager to everyone she meets! She definitely encourages people to go out a chase their dreams and do something unexplainable, unimaginable! And to achieve it!
Michelle was born with woody wood pecker red hair from her grandfather and that's where she says her ambition and spunk has came from... her fire red hair! As well as her GiGi telling her, "You may be little but you are mighty!" Philippians 4:13! Michelle has a love for her family and people and is always excited to see what God has in store for not only herself but ALL people! As you get to know our salon, Danielle has a love of taking pictures and over the years you will get to know not only Michelle but her entire family through many pictures. As you talk and get to know Michelle, God and family is always first and she is very devoted, she's definitely a family girl and with her it is no secret! |
Meet, Danielle!
Danielle is 30 years old married, Tony! She is a hardworking Mom of three beautiful girls, Coralynne Elsie and Francesca! As well as her cosmetology license she has her Bachelor degree in Small Business Management. Danielle has learned so much from working and managing the salon while staying focused on achieving her degree as well! She received her cosmetology license at the end of her junior year in high school and believe it or not she was only 16! She then went to work at a fast paced local hair salon and learned many things, good and bad.. quit there and worked at a local sub shop while going to community college for her associates degree. The summer of 2009 while vacationing in Topsail Island she approached her Mom, Michelle, telling her she figured the direction she wanted to take.. she loved people and chatting with them. She knew she could not sit at desk and wanted to start doing what she loved; hair! Done deal! Hired on the spot and an answer to Michelle's prayer, the best stylist to be Michelle's partner who shared her same excitement and ambition! Danielle has been working for the salon ever since, building her own clientele and stealing a few of Michelle's.. everyone loves Dani! Her beautiful smile, beautiful spirit and listening ear mixed in with her perfection and love of women is what keeps women, young adults and children coming back! Recently a young lady asked her, "Why do you do this? Don't you ever get so bored of doing the same thing?" Danielle replied, "Well not at all! The end result is what I am waiting for! You are my canvas." She has become an artist and absolutely loves creating a masterpiece with hair and is amazing with color!
